Amazing, amazing homecooked Portuguese food prepared by Paulina herself, it tastes like grandma's cooking. Cod in cream is very comforting and creamy, would suggest sharing it as it's quite heavy. Sardines pasta has really well-balanced flavors. Tuna steak is the star of the show. It's fluffy without being fatty, and flavorful all the way. Very enjoyable to eat. Portion is very generous. We had good conversation too. I'd say it's the best meal in Portugal in our trip. Go go go! Cash only, lunch only.
A real little gem just off the main tourist streets. The atmosphere felt warm and homely, almost like being invited into someone’s house. The owner, who runs everything on her own, was incredibly kind and sweet. The food was very tasty one of the best meals we had during our trip, and it’s the kind of place where you could easily spend hours just relaxing. Be aware that you can only pay cash.
Paulinha is a very kind woman who runs her own kitchen and makes beautiful food. We LOVED the Brazilian fish stew with banana, our favorite dish of the weekend in Lisbon/Cascais. So good. The steak and salted potatoes were also delicious and very well priced. We were so pleased with the meal we felt it was only right to try her homemade chocolate cake. Which, of course, was also amazing. It felt like being in my aunts kitchen as a kid (but with better food) Thank you Paulinha :) Bring cash or there is an ATM around
